SEED UNITS™ AND BIOTECHNOLOGY FOR CULTIVATION OF GOAT'S RUE FOR FORAGE

 This unique Russian know-how of biotechnological production of Goat’s rue (Galega orientalis) has been implemented and successfully used already in 400 farming enterprises in 40 regions of Russia (North-Western Federal District, Central Federal District, Volga Federal District, Southern Federal District and Siberian Federal District). The herbage yield is 400-800 centners/hectare annually during 10-20 years without application of any fertilizers or pesticides..

This biotechnological method is simple in application and has been adjusted to practically any types of soils and irrigation/watering; it does not need deep tillage – only scarification or No-Till. Seeding of specially prepared seed units of Goat’s rue™ can be carried out using any available seeding machinery of both Russian and other countries' produce.

Seeds in excess of 100 s.u. shall be controlled by LC "Petersburg Biotechnologies" specialists.

  Benefits of the biotechnology:

Incorporation (spread) of 1 metric ton of Goat’s rue’s herbage is equivalent to application of 5 metric tons of cattle manure; at the same time it doesn’t infest the soil with weed seeds or unwanted microflora. The Goat’s rue biotechnology ensures 150-250 kg/ha of honey yield annually.
